For the small and medium sizes only!
Companion winners are determined by two factors, form (pose) and natural ability (paired with a splash of randomness).
Here are examples of Lepitaur companion poses:
This competition requires two pictures per entry.
Standing picture:
~*Same as the pose show picture specifications*
Sitting picture:
~Animal is seated forward or in profile
~Head should be straight and facing the camera (eyes open)
~Animal should look alert and calm
After the best "form" are picked out (at least three per contest), natural ability among them comes into play. For each of these "best," a random percentage is generated (using a computer, dice, or other method). These animals' features can add or detract from their final numbers. (Added numbers are advantageous, subtracted are hinderance.)
~Leg fluff +20%
~Fluffy ears +25%
~Horns -15%
~Fangs -25%
~Light pupils +15%
Note: Because dice are rolled, an animal who is at a natural disadvantace can still win over a "better" one. This simulates the luck involved, and because animals can have their good days and their bad ones.
Additional Rules
The largest size Lepitaurs may not enter.
Modified (hex-painted) Lepitaurs may enter.
Mixed breeds or hybrids may only enter hybrid competitions but can earn points by the same scale as pure Lepitaurs.
Points
Entries are usually accepted for a month and points are awarded depending on the number of entries. (The same picture(s) may not be entered two months in a row.) When ties occur, both entrants get the higher number of points.
When you win, feel free to take a ribbon!
